Question: What if someone asks you to show paperwork of your service animal?

Answer: Your answer could be,  “Under the ADA, there’s no requirement for any registration or certification. Each disabled owner can choose whether to have their Service Animal registered or not. However, I did choose to voluntarily register my Service Animal. Here is a copy of her registration certificate issued by the Service Animal Registry of California, for your records.”
