Saisha Heinrich has led a normal life until she had seizures. At first, Sasha’s mother thought that she was suffering from psychological problems. The problem was that the doctors could not find anything wrong despite several tests. Sasha also experiences paralysis in her limbs and hallucinations.

While trying to keep up with her classes and living life normally on her terms, Sasha hopes to get a service dog from Demesti-PUPS. Having a seizure response dog would alert her before the seizures would occur. Sasha says, “With the help from a service dog, my parents and I will feel more confident about me going to school and getting a job.”
