Puppies to Help Improve Students’ Academic Concentration

therapy dogs help students

You might think that the presence of a cute puppy in the classroom would be distracting for students. Educational experts beg to differ. Therapy dogs Arlo and Romeo are there to help kids relax and concentrate especially during times of exams.

This research has inspired Andover College to welcome the two puppies in order to reassure and support students on the campus. “The aim of introducing therapy dogs to the college is to help students to calm down and relax during difficult times. Arlo and Romeo will also help students with their communication skills and to become more confident within themselves,” a spokesman for the college explained.
