A social media content company called Fullscreen, surveyed individuals aged 18-37. 62% of the participants shared that the pandemic has caused them stress by disrupting their daily routines. According to the data, owning a four-legged furry as a companion and something to take care of is a new “meaningful routine”.

This has motivated them to be positive while staying at home and has made them less worried about the future. Drew, a cat-owner and one of the participants who is based in Brooklyn said, “I often think about how they have no knowledge of all the chaos going on in the world, and it’s a nice escape.” If you’re looking for a reason to adopt a pet, now is the perfect time to.
