new doggie daycare to open

Meet Brooke Baran, a pet lover and owner who’s about to open her new business called Brooke’s Barks and Recreation. She had always wanted to own a dog care business – and now, it’s becoming a reality. In the process, Brooke underwent training with an organization that helps people who want to open their own dog business.

Brooke happily watched as workers were installing a recreational therapy pool for dogs and owners. It’s a large pool that measures 12 feet by 24 feet and it will be used not just for canine exercise, but also for various ailments experienced by canines.

Marilyn Smit of Freeport is excited about the new business. She sees it as a great addition to Freeport and knows that vets will be excited as well!
