Nashville Humane Association Shares Their Recent Struggles

The Nashville Humane Association is getting busier each day as more dogs fill their kennels. “We can not keep up with the demand which is crazy to think about but sometimes we don’t have enough animals for how many adopters we have,” said NHA Executive Director Laura Charvarria.

Aside from that, some people with pets who are losing their homes add to the rise of dogs being surrendered to the humane. However, the humane has their own safety net program that aids struggling people in keeping their pets at home by providing landlord assistance and pet food.
