Man Helps Clinton Boy Get a Service Dog of His Own

man helps boy get service dog

Joseph Kinney 5-year old boy diagnosed with cerebral palsy. His mother, Sharon Prater, says that her son is a jolly little kid. When he met Lucy at Wal-Mart, he was even more delighted.

Lucy is a service dog to Christopher LIoret, a man diagnosed with epilepsy. Christopher saw that Joseph and Lucy immediately clicked. So he put up a Facebook post for anyone in the community who might be willing to donate a dog to Joseph.

And good news, a community member has offered to help. The dog will first have to undergo training as a service dog. Christopher looks forward to helping more kids like Joseph.
