Charlotte Phillips is an 18-year-old girl from Bushey. She volunteered charity for disabled children through the Riding for the Disabled Association since 2014. As a lady who also has a passion for animals, she saw the RDA as a perfect place to display kindness for both animals and disabled children.
Phillips has voluntarily ridden many times for the association’s competitions. Because of that, she helped a lot of people with physical and learning disabilities and autism. “This charity is so important to me because of the amazing work they do helping all kinds of people with a variety of disabilities,” Phillips said.
She never thought that she would be nominated for an award for doing something of second nature to her.
Those who are nominated for the Community Hero Award will be awarded by Watford businesses.
