Disney’s Policy on Emotional Support Animals

Guests of all needs are welcome Orlando in theme parks including Disney. This makes them highly regarded due to their commitment to accessibility. Service animals can enter without question. But there is a difference when it comes to Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) because the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) doesn’t consider them as “Service Animals”.

According to Disney, an ESA can enter depending on the tasks it’s trained to do. For example, if the ESA is trained to calm down its owner when they suffer a panic attack, then the animal is welcome to enter the theme park. However, Disney requires the owner to put the animal in a leash or a harness at all times.
