Nubby is a 7-year old chihuahua and he’s born without back legs. He’s a special dog not because of his condition, but because he pays a visit and comforts young patients at the Banner Children’s at Cardon Children’s Medical Center. Most importantly, he helps raise awareness for people who are like him.

Deidre Grafel, Nubby’s owner, says that she plans to reach out to more individuals. At present, Nubby will keep doing what he does to show people that there is nothing wrong about being different.
