local transit accommodation

Question: When can a local transit deny accommodation to service animals?

Answer: Providers may deny accommodation only to Service Animals that pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others. For example, if the service animal displays threatening behaviors by growling, snarling, lunging at, or attempting to bite other persons on the local transit.
