Question: Can landlords impose restrictions on therapy animals?

Answer: The answer is yes. Take note that therapy animals are not covered by laws such as the ADA disability laws, FHAA fair housing laws, and Federal transportation regulations. This means that therapy animals have no rights to housing accommodations and that landlords can impose restrictions that they have for pets.
