An airline may not require that the assistance animal travel in the baggage compartment unless the animal poses a threat to other passengers or its presence would cause a significant disruption in cabin service (for example, a miniature horse would likely not be accommodated because of its size).

The Service Animal Registry of California invites you to have your assistance animal registered in order to designate its status. We also encourage you to take our online classes so you can be fully aware of your rights and gain more knowledge about your support animal.
